On the evening of the 26th, an elderly man was hit by a train and died at a railroad crossing on the Kintetsu Minami Osaka Line in Yamatotakada City, Nara Prefecture.

Since the wheelbarrow had fallen near the man, police are investigating the situation in detail, considering that the wheel of the wheelbarrow may have become stuck in a groove in the railroad crossing.

Around 4 pm on the 26th, an elderly man was hit by a regular train bound for Kashiharajingu-mae Station at a railroad crossing on the Kintetsu Minami-Osaka Line in Yamatotakada City, Nara Prefecture.



The man was confirmed dead at the scene.



According to the police, at the railroad crossing where alarms and barriers were installed, the wheelbarrow had fallen near the man, so the police got stuck in the groove inside the railroad crossing and moved. We are checking the identity of the man and investigating the details of the accident, considering that he may not be able to take it.



Due to this accident, the Kintetsu-Minami Osaka Line temporarily suspended operation on the up and down lines between Shakudo Station and Kashiharajingu-mae Station in Nara Prefecture.
