[Explanation] On December 25th, the Lingnan Taoist Cultural Festival "Building Dreams Together" hosted by the Guangdong Taoist Association was held in Guangzhou.
The event was guided by the Guangdong Provincial Religious and Cultural Exchange Association, the United Front Work Department of the Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee, and the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Ethnic and Religious Affairs. The event was undertaken by the Guangzhou Taoist Association and co-organized by relevant Taoist venues in Guangdong Province.
In the morning, the opening ceremony of Lingnan Taoist Cultural Festival kicked off in Wong Tai Sin Temple.

Our Lingnan Taoist Cultural Festival is mainly aimed at our Guangdong Province, as well as Hong Kong and Macao Taoist circles. 【Explanation】On the stage, there are wonderful cultural performances with Taoist cultural characteristics. Sanyuangong choir performances, Tai Chi performances, Wudang Kungfu performances, and Taoist orchestra performances show the Taoist cultural characteristics.

The Huang Taixian Temple in Hong Kong was passed down from Guangzhou. During the Anti-Japanese War, there was a Taoist leader who lived here in Fangcun (Guangzhou). He went to Hong Kong, and then he took Huang Taixian's paintings to Hong Kong. It became a belief culture of Wong Tai Sin and spread to Hong Kong.
[Explanation] Lai Hong, vice president of the Macau Taoist Association, said that the Macau Taoist community should continue to strengthen ties with Lingnan Taoist community, and jointly play a role in building cultural self-confidence.
