A lawsuit against “Tik Tok”: “It causes mental trauma to its users and employees.”

A number of employees of the world's most famous short video clip application "Tik Tok" filed a lawsuit against him, accusing him of causing mental trauma to its users and content moderators.

And the website “Previously” quoted the American network “Bloomberg” as saying that Candy Fraser, one of the employees of Tik Tok, had rejected a class action lawsuit against “Tik Tok”, because of the shock caused by his videos.

In her lawsuit, Frazier alleges that she found clips on Tik Tok showing violence, school shootings, fatal falls and even cannibalism.

The plaintiff accused Tik Tok of causing her difficulty sleeping and horrific nightmares due to the videos she watched on Tik Tok.

The employee at TikTok accused the management of the application of requiring her to work shifts of approximately 12 hours, with a lunch break of only one hour, and another break of 15 minutes;

What subjected her to severe stress;

She noted that content moderators are not allowed more than 25 seconds to review any video, due to the sheer volume of content they review;

Which makes them almost watch 3-10 videos simultaneously.

Content moderators on Tik Tok are forced to bear the brunt of the exposure to the offending clips, and the trauma they pose to them, to ensure that users do not have to be exposed to those clips.

But Tik Tok defends itself by saying that it has put all these conditions in the agreement with the supervisors before they sign it and start work, claiming that it is trying to provide psychological support to them to overcome any trauma they are exposed to because of those clips they are exposed to.

In her lawsuit, Frazier is seeking appropriate compensation for the psychological injuries she sustained as a result of watching these clips on Tik Tok, and also requests the establishment of a medical fund to care for the moderators in the application.
