According to Aichi Prefecture, two people living in Aichi Prefecture, who were confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus by the 24th, were negative in the PCR test to confirm whether they were Delta strains.



For this reason, Aichi Prefecture has decided to conduct a genome analysis at the prefectural health research institute because it may be infected with the Omicron strain.



It takes about 3 to 5 days to confirm the result, so the prefecture is planning to investigate the infection route until it is confirmed.
