The Journal of the American Medical Association has revealed the results of a study conducted by an international team of scientists and physicians regarding an alternative diet for weight loss.

And the agency “Sputnik” quoted the American journal JAMA Network Open as reporting the medical study that announced the best diet for weight loss, as it was considered that intermittent fasting actually helps those who are obese to lose weight.

According to the study, which was conducted on more than 130 people, their medical conditions were thoroughly studied on different types of intermittent fasting and their impact on health and body mass index for people who are overweight or obese.

The study indicated that intermittent fasting is a diet in which periods of eating and periods of fasting are followed, where a system is adopted based on eating what a person wants during a period of 5 days, and fasting for two days is limited to light foods without high calories and feeling hungry.
