An Iraqi tragedy.. the death of a mother with her four children asphyxiation.. and the father does not know

Today, Thursday, the police of Dohuk Governorate, northern Iraq, announced the death of a mother and her four children as a result of suffocation with coal gas used for heating in a village belonging to the city of Aqrah.

The police said in a statement, "The mother died with 4 of her children in Aqrah as a result of suffocation with coal gas used for heating at dawn today."

"The accident occurred late last night when the woman and her children slept in the village of Qubka in the Gardasin region, and they died of coal gas," the statement said.

The police statement indicated that the father of the children was not at home at the time of the accident, and only learned about it later, as he works as an affiliate in the Peshmerga forces.
