  Affected by the earthquake, in order to ensure the safety of passenger travel and railway transportation, the railway department urgently initiated emergency plans and strengthened inspections of line equipment and facilities.

Blockade inspections were conducted on certain sections of the Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity, Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway, and Beijing-Shanghai existing lines.
