A gift is nice, but not always.
Sometimes it doesn't please and gets thrown away or put away in the back of a drawer.
In this case, the pollution linked to its manufacture and its transport therefore becomes unnecessary.
There are some tips to avoid this.
To start, consider asking your loved ones for a Christmas list, to be sure to give them a gift they want.
For children, no more catalogs and ads with hundreds of toys that make them want.
Ask them to choose three toys, and explain to them how they were made, by whom, and where.
The raffle is also a way to reduce gifts: with family or friends, choose a person to give a gift, so that everyone will have one, but not too many!
Finally, buying differently helps to preserve the environment.
Beware of plastic, which is dangerous for nature and health, limit gifts from China and favor second-hand or intangible gifts, such as a concert ticket.
