In Zhuzhou, Hunan, there are such three grandpas who have started a business together and are called "Grandpa version of Chinese partners."
They were good buddies when they were young, they played together, laughed together, and made trouble together... Now, they are 241 years old together and they have become "partners" and plan to make money to buy a car and travel together.
When interviewed by the Ziniu News reporter, the three grandfathers relished the story of starting a business together, and they were full of enthusiasm for life and dreams.

On the side road of Shidai Avenue, Zhuzhou, Hunan, there is a Baonan restaurant that has just been opened for one month. Guests come and go during meals every day, and the business is really good.
When guests enter the store, they can see three gray-haired elderly people working on the big white table, one is making fried dumplings, the other is making dumplings, and the other is holding a spoon.
The three grandpas were still working when they were old?
When I asked, I found out that they were the owner of this store.
86-year-old Grandpa Yu, 78-year-old Grandpa Ma, and 77-year-old Grandpa Wei opened this small restaurant.
"Chinese Partners" has a classic line: "In fact, what we pursue is not success, but our own dignity." So what do grandpas pursue when opening a restaurant in partnership?
A sentence in a photo of a group of three people posted in the store might answer: "We chose to open the Baonan Hotel not to make a living, but to live."
What kind of life are the three grandfathers who are 241 years old in total pursuing?
Recently, a reporter from Ziniu News contacted them.
The grandfathers said that now the country is strong and prosperous, and the construction of various places is very prosperous. They want to earn a little money to buy an RV, walk around and see the great rivers and mountains of the motherland, and by the way, they also want to show love to the society.
During the interview, the reporter learned that the three grandpas were colleagues and good buddies before retirement.
Grandpa Yu is a native of Wuhan. He joined CRRC Zhuzhou Machinery Company in 1953 as a finishing technician in the factory.
Grandpa Ma and Grandpa Wei are from Beijing. They are classmates. They graduated from Beijing Railway Engineering School in 1963 and joined CRRC Zhuji as quality management engineers in the factory.
Grandpa Wei told reporters that when he first entered the factory, he still lived in a dormitory with Grandpa Ma, and later met Grandpa Yu. Since then, the three of them have become good buddies.
"Playing chess, chatting, and playing together are common things." He said that after they got married, they all lived close together, more than 100 meters away.
Because of similar interests and mutual understanding, the friendship between the three people has not faded after retirement.
After retiring, the three grandpas have their own hobbies and live a very colorful life.
The eldest grandfather Yu likes to travel and went to Thailand a few years ago.
Grandpa Wei and Grandpa Ma joined the factory band when they were young and liked musical instruments.
Grandpa Ma has a high level of playing bridge. He once took the second place in the senior group of the national railway system. He can still play clarinet when he is free, but he said that now he is old and can't hold his breath.
After retiring, Grandpa Wei fell in love with photography again. He bought a lot of lenses at home. He can play WeChat and make vibrato. In his words, he "has not been abandoned by the times."
Why do you want to start a business and open a restaurant?
Grandpa Wei said that this proposal was initiated by Grandpa Yu.
"A few months ago, we went to Changsha and saw an RV together. At that time, Brother Yu said that although we all have hobbies, we can't generate income. It's better to open a restaurant and wait for the money to buy an RV to travel together."3 All people think this is a good idea. "After generating income, you can not only travel, but also contribute to the society." Grandpa Wei said that this is their "little ambition."

Grandpa Wei said that at first, the respective family members did not understand. He felt that at such an old age, the family was not short of money, so why bother?
Later, I saw that the old people had made up their minds and supported them, but agreed that the old people should not be too tired and take care of their health.
They don't care about the success of the investment.
"We are all mentally prepared. Even if we fail, each person will only lose tens of thousands of yuan. Now the country has a good retirement policy. We all have a monthly retirement salary of about 4,000 yuan. We have a guaranteed life and no worries." Grandpa Wei told reporters. If everyone is happy with success and can serve the society, it doesn’t matter if they fail. The main reason is to enjoy the process of partnership and entrepreneurship, and "make fun."
After more than three months of preparations, on November 16, Baonan Hotel finally opened for business.
Regarding the meaning of the name of the store, Grandpa Wei said: "We are all from the north. We think Hunan is a good place and a treasure, so it is called Baonan."
The store has a total of more than 100 square meters and an investment of more than 100,000 yuan. The decoration is simple and the ground is also the original cement floor, which is quite rustic.
The furniture and seats were bought by the three grandpas who went to Changsha together, and they were all assembled by themselves without drawing.
In addition to the three partners, the grandpas also invited a few young people to help.
They are compatible with the tastes of the north and the south, focusing on local dishes, and also add dumplings, lamb, squirrel fish and other dishes from the north for customers to choose.
Since then, the three grandfathers have had small goals for common struggle in their later years.
Their respective wives also often come to the store. Those who can help will help, and those who can't help will visit the shop.

Although they have to work for 5 hours a day, they are not tired at all.
The 86-year-old Grandpa Yu is meticulous.
Before starting work, he always put the tableware and raw materials properly, and he looked attentively when he made the egg dumplings. After the egg dumplings were fried, they had to be arranged neatly.
The 78-year-old Grandpa Ma is full of vigour, making noodles, rolling out dough, making stuffing, and making dumplings in one go. His quick actions made many young people sigh.
The 77-year-old Grandpa Wei is responsible for taking care of the dumplings in the pot, and quickly get them out when they are cooked.
Grandpa Wei told reporters that the traditional craftsmanship of these northerners has to be done by their old friends before they can rest assured. In the future, they plan to launch special noodles such as fried noodles, hand-rolled noodles and pancakes.
After observation, the grandpas found that the northern dumplings and egg dumplings they made were still more popular with customers. There were still many people who came to see them.
This makes them seem to have found the selling point of their business.
Because it is located in the food court, the flow of people is large, and the dishes are refreshing and down-to-earth, the business has been booming since the opening of the small shop a month ago.
The grandpas felt one step closer to their "little ambitions".
Grandpa Yu told reporters that they are planning to put tourism on the agenda starting next year, "First go to various parts of Hunan, and then expand to all parts of the country."
However, the dream of a RV still makes them obsessed with it, and they yearn for the old buddies to go hand in hand to the distance.
"If you go far, it's more convenient to have a RV. Although we don't have a driver's license, we can hire a young man to drive it." Grandpa Wei said cheerfully. They are yearning for Tibet and Xinjiang. As long as their health allows, they will travel there.
There are benefits from starting a business, and grandpas also hope to repay the society.
"A few days ago, we went to a nursing home together, bringing rice and oil, to condolences to the elderly who are about our age, and some five-guarantee households." Some people called them "grandpa version of Chinese partners", and the grandpas laughed. He said: "It means so, but we haven't watched this movie yet, so we must watch it if we take the time."
