• Eurovision Junior Spain, 15th classified

Radio Televisión Española has published through its internet channel the 14 songs that participate in the Benidorm Fest, the festival-competition that will be held between January 20 and 26 in Benidorm.

The contest will have two semi-finals and one final

, the winner of which will represent Spain in the 66th edition of Eurovision, in Turin, on May 14.

The list includes songs by Azúcar Moreno, Blanca Paloma, Chanel, Gonzalo Hermida, Javiera Mena, Luna Ki, Marta Sango, Rayden, Rigoberta Bandini, Sara Deop, Tanxugueiras, Unique, Varry Brava and Xeinn.

In other words, Eurovision veterans, Latin pop stars, classic ballads, rappers, neo-folklorists, regiuetonas, colorful characters ...

In its campaign to relaunch the European event and with the slogan #ElFestivalQueQuieres, the public television corporation has announced that on December 23 the official presentation of the candidates to travel to Turin will be held, but that

The winner will be chosen by a vote in which

a professional jury will

participate

(60% national, 40% international) that will have 50% of the decision-making capacity, while the other half will be from the public (50% through televoting and another 50% made up of

a sample of the Spanish population selected by statistical and demographic rules

).

This criterion, RTVE has assured, is used in festivals such as Sanremo or Melodifestivalen and
