The season finale of the reality soap Bachelorette reached its climax when it turned out that Julia Franzén had dumped the guy who had previously won her heart.

Instead, she had started dating another participant from the program.

In the episode, the course of events appears like a bolt from the blue - and the second the program ended, hatred of Julia began to well up.

Hundreds of comments in her channels on social media, and in TV4's accounts.

- They think I'm fake and disgusting and shitty towards this guy I did not choose, says Julia Franzén.

In the clip: Hear Julia Franzén talk about the hatred and why she is disappointed on TV4.

"Had calmed everything down"

Behind the cameras, she had, against the will of the production, warned everyone involved about what was to come, she says.

Julia Franzén thinks that TV4 could have done more to help her when the storm of hatred started.

- I understand that they do not want to ruin the magic for the viewers.

But I think the channels will be much faster when they see that hatred is starting to grow in the comment fields.

Either by deleting the comments - or by issuing a message: “keep in mind that this is a production.

It is not Julia who makes all the decisions ”.

- It had calmed everything down.

There they could have helped me.

Only after three days, after I have said that I feel bad about the hatred, do they hear from me and ask: how are you?

TV4: "Deletes as soon as possible"

Kristoffer Muregård, press officer for Bachelorette, responds to the criticism in an email.

“We want our comment fields to be inclusive and respectful, therefore we do not allow comments or actions that may be perceived as offensive.

We will delete those comments as soon as possible.

We got in touch with Julia when it came to our knowledge that she has been exposed to net hatred in her own channels, it is of course not something we want anyone to be affected by ”.
