In accordance with the advice of a sorcerer, she kidnapped a baby and killed her as an offering to heal her sick husband

A six-month-old baby has died as a human sacrifice for her grandfather's life in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

The incident was revealed after a neighbor reported the death of the child to the police.

According to the details of the incident, Nasir al-Din, aged 32, was married to Shaliha and had a daughter with her.

Nasir al-Din's uncle, Athar al-Din, was working abroad and had recently returned.

And it became common for a disease that raised religion continuously, and his wife Sharmila Begum had gone to a charlatan, in an attempt to find any way to cure him, where the charlatan told her to sacrifice a child without spilling any blood to save the life of the effects of religion.

Sharmila Begum reportedly planned to sacrifice Shleiha's six-month-old daughter, as, last Tuesday, she went to Shleiha's home at midnight and kidnapped the girl.

When Shleiha woke up, she panicked and started searching for the child. When Shleiha, the child's mother, went to Sharmila Begum to ask her about her child, Sharmila took the girl's mother to the back of her house, where the child was placed inside a fish tank to drown her, which actually happened, according to the sorcerer's request.

The baby's mother said she objected to Sharmila Begum's actions, but the latter pressured her to bury the baby in their backyard.

The neighbors reported the incident to the security authorities, who exhumed the girl's body and sent it for autopsy to determine the causes of her death.
