Hong Kong is voting this Sunday, December 19, 2021 to elect the members of its parliament, the Legislative Council, the "LegCo", according to the new rules imposed by Beijing.
Only candidates who swore allegiance to Beijing were allowed to stand.
To talk about it, Florent Guignard is online with Jean-Pierre Cabestan, from Hong Kong.
He is research director at the CNRS, attached to the East Asia Research Institute of Inalco.
