A white march which brought together nearly 200 people was organized this Sunday in Cagnac-les-Mines (Tarn), in tribute to Delphine Jubillar, whose husband Cédric is suspected of having killed her a year ago.

"Delphine, Louis, Elyah, Justice et Vérité, We love you", could we read on a large banner, also in reference to her two children placed with their aunt, deployed by friends of the 33-year-old nurse, grouped together in front of the lake of the small town of Tarn.

"He who has done evil must speak"

To the sound of songs played on loudspeakers, the participants in the white march held up sheets representing a white ribbon on a black background, “against violence against women”.

“We are his friends, cousins, family and strangers.

We are Delphine, because what happened to you could have happened to us and must not happen again.

We are all with you, all these women in couples, married, who wish to divorce, all those who are afraid, who do not dare ”, declared at the microphone Hélène, one of her friends, struggling to restrain her sobs.

“We want the truth.

He who has done evil must speak.

I refuse the idea that we may not find her.

Delph deserves the truth.

Give us Delph back, we're not giving up, ”added another friend.

"A bundle of clues" against Cédric Jubillar

For the civil parties, the family and relatives of the nurse, Cédric Jubillar, with whom she was in the process of divorce, is the number one suspect.

The day after his wife's disappearance, he took part in a fight organized by the gendarmes.

And on June 12 at a white march, standing far behind his wife's friends.

Six days later he was arrested and indicted for intentional homicide.

He has since been imprisoned at the Seysses remand center.

In this highly publicized affair, with no body, no confessions or material evidence, the painter-plasterer proclaims his innocence.

But justice puts forward "a bundle of serious and consistent evidence" against him and considers that the evidence is sufficient to justify his continued detention.
