Who hasn't woken up in the morning wondering what they've been dreaming about all night?

It is precisely to answer this question that Ifop has carried out a study.

The survey was conducted online, from November 30 to December 1, among 1,009 people representative of the French population and aged 18 and over, reports

.

So, what do the French dream of as soon as they fall asleep?

The study reveals that 71% of respondents have dreamed that they were at work, 13% even very often.

A dream (or nightmare) that also continues among retirees!

70% of them say they still dream of their former professional situation, according to the results of the survey.

Politics stirs the nights of the French

After work comes the fun.

More than two in three French people have already had erotic dreams.

In all, they represent 69% of the panel, and in particular 78% of men and 76% of those under 35.

Dreamers' nights are also disturbed by ... politics.

Less fun, but realistic.

For more than a third of those questioned, the presidential candidate Eric Zemmour is the candidate who would be elected in 2022 in their worst nightmares.

This is particularly noticeable among women, those under 35, but also among supporters of the left and those of La République en Marche.

The study nevertheless indicates that many French people mostly have fanciful or unreal dreams.

They would be 36% to dream with realism against 19% to have fanciful dreams.

For 45% of respondents, these night dreams are as realistic as they are fanciful.
