The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on December 16, local time that the Russian Northern Fleet "Gorshkov" frigate successfully conducted the "Zircon" hypersonic missile test again.
"Zircon" will be installed in the Russian Navy next year after completing the test mission.
The "Zircon" hypersonic missile is Russia's first sea-based hypersonic cruise missile with a flying speed of Mach 9 and a maximum range of 1,000 kilometers.
