At the end of 2021, the southern section of Beijing-Hong Kong Metro Line 17 will be opened for operation. It is reported that this section of the line has a total length of 16.5 kilometers and a total of 7 stations.
Among them, at Ciqu Station, you can transfer with Yizhuang Line, and at Shilihe Station, you can transfer with Line 14 and Line 10 to realize the three-line transfer. After opening, the average daily passenger volume is about 76,000.
It is reported that trains on this line can reach a maximum speed of 100 kilometers per hour. After the opening, residents in the Ciqu area can take Line 17 to Shili River in only 18 minutes, which is about 30 minutes less than before.
In addition to the southern section of Line 17, at the end of 2021, the remaining section of Line 14 and the Yuyuantan East Gate Station of Line 16 will also be opened. By then, the operating mileage of the Beijing-Hong Kong Metro will exceed 145 kilometers.
