Our Islamic religion and our religious law magnanimous calls for hard work of what works religion and the world, in the Holy Quran says our Lord would Gel: )oukl yourselves will see God's work and His Messenger and the believers and Strdon to the unseen world and Venbikm what you Tamlon(, and it work includes Hereafter the work of the world and work if its validity chastity of oneself and one whom one must support; Because that is what a person must do, and the duty with the intention of obedience is rewarded for the one who does it, and the one who neglects it is punished, whether it is a legal duty, or a situation that one compels himself to enter into it voluntarily, such as public or private jobs for which one receives a wage, and whether the work is on a day Friday or elsewhere; Because Friday is like all other days of God Almighty in which work is permitted, and that is why we find our Lord, glory be to Him, when He commanded us to strive to meet the call on Friday, He said:And they left off sale, meaning that they used to sell, work, cultivate and live in the world. So if they heard the call of God Almighty, they would call him lightly, then the noble verse clearly indicates that working on Friday is from the guidance of Islam, which is what the companions of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, were upon, as Bukhari, Muslim and Malik narrated in Al-Muwatta and the pronunciation for him, that a man from the companions of the Messenger of God God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - came clearly in a narration that Uthman bin Affan, may God be pleased with him - entered the mosque on Friday, and Omar bin Al-Khattab was delivering a sermon. Omar said: What hour is this? He said: O Commander of the Faithful, I turned away from the market, and I heard the call, so I did not do any more than that I performed ablution, Omar said, and ablution also?!And you knew that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was “ordering ghusl.” Uthman did not see anything wrong with doing work on Friday, and neither Umar nor any of the Companions who heard the dialogue denounced him, and they do not remain silent on falsehood, because that is what they have to do. Therefore, the people of knowledge did not differ on the permissibility of working on the whole day of Friday except at the time of the second call, so it is obligatory to leave all work as our master Othman, may God be pleased with him, did, and then it is necessary to strive to listen to the sermon and perform the prayer, as Friday is not valid except in a congregational mosque, and it is forbidden to occupy it for those who Jumu’ah is obligatory on him. Rather, it is not valid to contract at that time with whom it is obligatory as Imam Malik sees it, unlike those who are not obligated, such as women, children, travellers, the sick who are excused from performing it and the like from those who have authorized excuses.
And Muslims in every country continue to work in this way, to the extent that in many countries, especially the countryside, they have special markets called “Friday Market”, without objection from the scholars or the general public. Indeed, many scholars, especially the Malikis and some Hanbalis stipulated that dislike of leaving work on Fridays;
Because that is an imitation of the Jews and Christians, who are being held captive, and our religion does not contain any of that.
As for the time for Friday prayer, which was set after one o’clock;
It is absolutely unproblematic.
Because the time of Friday is like the time of noon, and it does not come out except by the time of the afternoon prayer, and the time is known by the fate of the shadow of everything like it, so the timing was still at the beginning of the time, and no Friday is preceded by another until there is a jurisprudential problem regarding the validity of the previous Friday without any other, rather it is prayed in all mosques in All over the country at one time, and this is a success in making a decision.
As for the one on whom Friday prayer is not obligatory, such as the traveler, woman, or sick person, then he will pray Dhuhr when the time for it begins when the sun sets.
It was correct to make the work on this day very light, as it does not exceed half the day, and to set the time for Friday prayer in accordance with the rest of the seasons of the year, so that those who needed to be able to go home to take a shower and perfume, while remaining the virtue of the beginning of the time, and from the advantages of working in On Friday, it leads people to perform this great obligation, as people do not get busy traveling authorized to leave Friday, or laziness because of staying up late, so this was from the right and payment.
We ask God Almighty to continue success for what is right for the conditions of the servants and the country, and to grant success to our rulers in that which includes payment and guidance.
• One of the advantages of working on Friday is that it forces people to perform this great obligation.
