Carole Baskin throws in the towel.

The animal friend had filed a complaint against Netflix after the broadcast of season 2 of

Tiger King

.

Indeed, she had not agreed to participate, but the directors had circumvented her refusal by broadcasting archive images in which she appeared.

She has since decided to cancel the procedure, if Deadline is to be believed.

Carole Baskin and her husband Howard attacked directors Rebecca Chaikin and Eric Goode in an attempt to stop the broadcast of the second season of the cult program on November 17.

Almost a month later, therefore, it seems clear that all the spectators interested in the program have already seen it and that there is no longer any point in preventing it from being broadcast on the streaming platform.

No immediate harm

A Florida judge denied the Baskin couple a temporary broadcast ban on

Tiger King 2

last month, insisting that "it does not appear that the inclusion of footage from the defendants on the Baskins will cause immediate harm that cannot be compensated by monetary damages ”. Since then, it is possible that Netflix preferred to negotiate with Carole and Howard Baskin to end the affair as soon as possible. Anyway, neither the interested party, nor the streaming giant wanted to speak.

Joe Exotic, for his part, remains in prison.

The star, who revealed last summer to suffer from "aggressive" prostate cancer, has asked to be released from prison, where he is being held for organizing an assassination attempt against Carole Baskin.

For the moment, therefore, his request has not been accepted.
