The rapper accuses her colleague of knowingly shooting her in the foot after an argument in the vehicle they shared when they returned from a party at Kylie Jenner's in the summer of 2020.

Los Angeles Superior Court judge Keith Borjon has ruled that the rapper will have to stand trial after the preliminary hearing yesterday.

, Tory Lanez maintained charges of assault with a semi-automatic weapon, possession of an unregistered weapon, possession of a loaded weapon in a vehicle, in addition to inflicting injuries.

The 29-year-old rapper claims his innocence, but the file does not plead in his favor.

Megan Thee Stallion first explained to the police that she was injured with broken glass.

Some time later, she ended up accusing the rapper of shooting her, in a video posted on her social networks.

Placed in preventive detention, Tory Lanez then called a mutual friend to whom he had apologized for having shot his colleague.

In addition, the inspector of the LAPD who questioned Megan Thee Stallion testified at the bar on what she confided.

She explained that she had an argument with Tory Lanez in the car they shared to return from a party organized by Kylie Jenner.

When she decided to leave the vehicle, the singer would then have drawn his gun, would have shouted "Dance, bitch" before shooting her in the foot.

Tory Lanez has pleaded not guilty.

He risks twenty-two years in prison and is expected again by the court on January 13.
