A shocking video has surfaced on social media, in which a group of Indian high school students can be seen misbehaving and assaulting a teacher during classes.
The video was shot in high school and spread on social media.
In the video, students can be seen misbehaving with an Indian teacher as he entered the classroom, as the video clearly shows one of the students attempting to assault the teacher with a rubbish bin, which he later places on the teacher's head.
As soon as the video appeared on the Internet, netizens demanded crackdown on the students.
On the other hand, Karnataka Minister of Primary and Secondary Education BC Nagesh, learned of the incident promptly directed an investigation and take strict action.
The minister said on Twitter: "The assault of a teacher by students in a school cannot be tolerated. The Education Department and the police are investigating the matter, and there are instructions to take appropriate action. We will always be with the teachers."
