The eighth bulletin - your publication (12/14/2021) monitored the interaction with the campaign against the Lebanese food blogger after he published a clip of him buying cakes from an elderly seller, and commenting on the quality of the cakes in a way that some of the pioneers of the communication platforms described as insulting, while others defended him after to justify his position.

George Deeb, who calls himself "Doctor Food", appeared in a clip that was widely circulated on various platforms, in which he described the elderly seller as miserly because he did not put enough cheese in the cake, as he put it.

After the spread of this clip, the platforms witnessed a wide wave of solidarity with the elderly seller called “Uncle Haitham”, and many went to his cart to buy cakes and support him morally, and stressed the need to boycott and cancel the follow-up of Dr. Food.

While the influencer, George Deeb, responded to his critics via the Instagram Stories feature, to express his rejection of the campaign against him, and confirmed that he had known the elderly seller for years, had coordinated with him for filming, and paid him the price of the "sandwich more than 20 times", according to saying.

However, Uncle Haitham denied George Deeb's justifications, saying that he did not know him before, and that he did not pay him for 20 cakes, as he claimed.

Activist Hussein Samara saluted Uncle Haitham and what he is doing. He wrote, "Blessed is the one who eats halal foods and lives with peace of mind, all the love for Uncle Haitham in the face of famous coincidences who despise people and who are without understanding."

As for the activist Omar Awad, he expressed his anger at Dr. Food’s actions, and he tweeted, “An old person stands from morning to evening under the cold and winter until he sells these cakes, and he and his family eat a bite of halal food. A person, named Dr. Baheen Halalma, is just as sandy. Views on his page on one of the communication sites.” .

On the other hand, Daoud Baalbaki defended Dr. Food, and confirmed that what happened was agreed upon. He said, "Dr. Food is one of the most people who gives advice and helps restaurants with his advice regarding his style. We are all a group of restaurants, such a management chicken, because we do not know how to run around, as for the issue of cakes I agree with him, and this is a kind of representation in marketing, so we do not do a little morality or anything."
