A cluster of Covid-19 was detected at the Montluçon (Allier) gendarmerie school.
A screening, carried out by the Red Cross in connection with the regional health agency (ARS) Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, identified around fifty cases among students and staff, this Monday, reports
La Montagne
.
Very few students showed symptoms and all had been vaccinated.
A complete vaccination schedule
Indeed, "all the executives and students have been the subject of a complete vaccination schedule and we have also started the recall for the third dose", assures our colleagues General Laurent Vidal, commanding the school.
The positive cases were confined within the establishment or at home.
Potential contact cases are currently being identified.
The health protocol already in progress in the school has been strengthened.
Management therefore plans to send two uncontaminated companies on leave.
The families of the students are no longer allowed to attend the various ceremonies in December.
For the moment, it is not known which variant is at the origin of this outbreak of coronavirus.
