[Concurrent] Russian volunteer Oriya

Please line up at the back, one meter apart.

[Explanation] Although she wears a mask and can't see her face clearly, when she speaks, this epidemic prevention volunteer who speaks "Russian accent" in the northeastern dialect can always immediately attract the attention of others, and she often responds with a warm smile.

This is Oriya, a Russian volunteer in Xingye Community, Songbei District, Harbin.

[Commentary] It is understood that Olia has been in China for 12 years.

Olia told reporters that when she heard about the recruitment of volunteers in the community last year, she signed up non-stop.

From being on duty in the beginning to assisting in nucleic acid testing, she can be seen busy in the community every time an epidemic comes.

When the first outbreak came, people in our community who needed help, needed volunteers, and asked in the group, I asked my husband if I could go, and he said that you may not go because you are a foreigner, but You can try it.

I went to the community to sign up, and the community said it could try.

Now I’m helping with nucleic acid testing, scanning ID cards, scanning QR codes. If there are people in the community who are in quarantine at home, they will deliver things, deliver supplies, go to the door with medical staff for nucleic acid testing, inquire about residents’ status, lock the door, etc., one day there will be A lot of work to be done.

[Explanation] The staff in the community told reporters that being careful and enthusiastic is the "little label" they put on Oria.

Oria spends a whole day doing nucleic acid testing every time, helping the community share a lot of work.

Sometimes, she maintains the order of the nucleic acid testing team, saying "please line up, one meter apart" hundreds of times a day.

Oria usually works very seriously and responsibly. When the residents come to scan the code every time they do the nucleic acid, the ID card must be disinfected with alcohol before returning to the residents. She is very responsible for her work and she is also very enthusiastic about her work. Nucleic Acid) Whatever questions the residents have, she will answer them one by one.

[Explanation] Because Oria insists on participating in every round of nucleic acid testing, the residents in the community have known this girl who speaks Northeastern Russian accent.

The reporter saw on the scene that Oriya always communicated with residents proficiently in Chinese and helped them scan the QR code to register.

Even with a mask, Oria always had a sincere smile in her eyes.

When I first saw her at a nucleic acid testing site, I was particularly surprised. I didn't expect her to take the initiative to participate in the work of this volunteer.

From this summer to now, we have done Nucleic Acid several times. I have seen her standing on a volunteer service post. She is very sincere and very friendly. Every time she faces those bad queues, she They are very gentle and never angry.

[Explanation] Oriya told reporters that although she is usually very busy with volunteer work and is very tired while standing in protective clothing for a day, she never thought of giving up.

Residents often said hard after finishing nucleic acid, which made her feel very warm.

Olia said that she also wanted to give back this warmth to the residents.

We are very tired from volunteer work, but we also work on our own and decided to help.

There are many people who come to our community for nucleic acid testing, and more than 2,000 people can come in a day.

Some residents are very nice, they speak very well, they say that they have worked hard, and some people say thank you. Even if they are tired, there is nothing to do. (our volunteers) have to work. This is the case now.

[Explanation] Because of the influence of Oria, her husband Lin Lifeng also participated in volunteer work with her. During the epidemic, the two often "fight side by side".

As the mother of two children, Oria always wants to set an example for the children and become the pride of the children.

Oria said that after returning home from volunteer work every day, hugging her child is the most healing moment of her day.

As family members, we must be very supportive of this matter, and I feel that we are also setting an example for our children.

What Olia means is that there is no big country and no small family.

Therefore, as family members, we must all support this matter.

At the same time, we are also comrades-in-arms who are fighting side by side, and we are also doing this volunteer service together. For example, when the epidemic is severe, we need to lead the killing team. Everyone will divide their work and go to each community to complete their own tasks.

[Explanation] After living in China for 12 years, Olia has long regarded this place as her second hometown.

She said that because she loves China and her family and friends, she always wants to do what she can in the face of the epidemic, and being a volunteer makes her feel very meaningful.

Oriya also hopes to fight the epidemic with everyone and work hard together so that Harbin can overcome the epidemic faster.
