Krister Henriksson grew up in the small coastal community Grisslehamn in Norrtälje municipality with a father who was a fisherman and a mother who was a housewife.

He describes it as that they did not have that much money - but that it was not a concern because no one else had it either.

After 32 films in the role of police commissioner Kurt Wallander and a successful career as a Dramaten actor, his financial situation looks different today.

- It's quite nice when you make that trip with money and realize how little it means, says Krister Henriksson.
