Do we have the right to touch one of the best finals of one of the best series on television?

It seems that Alan Ball, creator of

Six Feet Under

, is asking the question.

According to the American media

Variety

, the screenwriter and producer could breathe new life into fiction with a new project whose character has not yet been defined.

A reboot? A suite ? For the time being, no decision has been taken in the form or in the substance because even the intrigue is not stopped. The series creator, along with executive producers Bob Greenblatt and David Janollari, are all wondering what this new series might look like, which is only at the discussion stage.

Broadcast between 2001 and 2005 on HBO (then on Canal + and France Télévisions at home),

Six Feet Under

follows the fate of the Fisher family, at the head of a funeral director in Los Angeles.

From the first episode, the patriarch dies, plunging his relatives into mourning while having to ensure his succession.

Critically acclaimed, the fiction and its cast have won several Emmy Awards and Golden Globes, including Best Drama Series in 2002.
