On December 10, four Chinese law enforcement boats that participated in the 112th China-Laos-Myanmar-Thailand joint patrol and law enforcement on the Mekong River honked their horns and set sail at Jingha Wharf in Xishuangbanna, China, marking the official launch of the 112th China-Laos-Myanmar-Thailand joint patrol and law enforcement on the Mekong River.

  On December 10, 2011, the first China-Laos-Myanmar-Thailand joint patrol and law enforcement on the Mekong River was launched, marking the official start of law enforcement and security cooperation in the Mekong River Basin.

With the joint efforts of China, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand, 111 joint patrols and law enforcement services have been successfully carried out in the past ten years.
