The question was at the heart of a conference organized yesterday in Chad.

Since the death of historic leader Abubakar Shekau, hundreds of men have deserted the ranks of the jihadist group and returned to their villages.

How to welcome them?

Should they all be heard by the authorities?

How to reintegrate them into communities in Chad, but also in Niger and Cameroon?
