When it comes to having a meal delivered, pizza is no longer queen.
It is now the burger that is in the first place of the most home delivered dishes, according to the Datalicious observatory of the company Just Eat.
"A real surprise, when pizza has been at the top of the ranking for more than 10 years", specifies the home delivery platform in its study, relayed by

.
The Italian specialty was first in the ranking for the past two years, but only comes third in 2021. It is also overtaken by Japanese specialties.
Regions do not order the same thing
The burger has continued to climb the stairs over the past three years, finally reaching the highest in 2021. 80% of restaurants in France now offer it.
The ranking also includes Indian food in 4th position and Chinese food in 5th position.
Conversely, Fish & Chips or rougail sausages and cod fritters are losing ground.
There are geographic differences.
In the Paris region, butter chicken comes first, while tacos are king in five regions, including Paca, Occitanie and Brittany.
The cheeseburger comes first in Hauts-de-France, Grand-Est and Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
In Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, we prefer the burger steakhouse version.
Consumer habits have also changed.
The best time to have a meal delivered is no longer on Sunday evening, but on Friday evening.
"In need of outings with friends or family, the catering has become a way to decompress after the turmoil of the week", comments the study.
