This year's podcast is chosen by a vote on the Radio Academy's website, while the host categories are decided through Sifo's web panel.

The recently deceased P1 profile Katarina Hahr is awarded the Honorary Award of the Year posthumously for her unique journalism.
"She lost her sight at the age of 30 and this made her develop a special sensitivity in all other senses.
No one at Swedish Radio had a larger network of contacts in the acting and artist industry and that gave her a very special position.
Fortunately, all her conversations with famous cultural personalities are still there now that she has unfortunately left us far too soon, ”the jury writes in its motivation.

New category for this year is this year's interview, where "Mother killed in the bed next door" by Emma Ikekwe for Reality in P3 and the production company Filt was awarded the prize.
