Soviet and Russian theater and film actress Nina Nikolaevna Urgant was born on September 4, 1929 in the city of Luga, Leningrad Region.

In 1953 she graduated from the Leningrad Theater Institute.

Urgant made her film debut in 1954 as Olga in the film "The Tiger Tamer".

She also starred in such films as "Introduction", "I come from childhood", "You wrote to me", "Belorussky station" and others.
