Virgil Abloh's friends bid him last farewell in Chicago

Virgil Abloh's funeral was held at the Museum Contemporary Art in Chicago yesterday and was attended by many stars.

Louis Vuitton activist and friend Aleta Clark, known as Englewood Barbie, documented the commemoration on her social media.

The designer had helped him promote non-violence in disadvantaged neighborhoods in Chicago, an action she is developing through her association Hugs No Slugs.

From the footage she shared, we can see that the cream of American hip hop has paid a final tribute to Virgil Abloh, starting with his longtime friend Kanye West.

Virgil Abloh died of cardiac angiosarcoma, a rare form of cancer.

He was 41 years old.
