This Monday, the prefecture proved, in a press release, its willingness to step up its fight against the spread of the coronavirus, Haut-Rhin news indicates.

The incidence rate multiplied by 8 in one month
"In order to ensure compliance with barrier gestures", the prefect therefore asked the police to control, in particular, the wearing of masks in all the Christmas markets in the department.
Regarding the health pass, in Colmar for example, it is required to access the food stands.
The prefecture also wished to alert the inhabitants, thus calling for their responsibility.
"For several weeks, the health situation has deteriorated in the department, as throughout the territory, but particularly rapidly in the Haut-Rhin," said the press release.
In one month, the incidence rate fell from 73.2 cases of Covid-19 per 100,000 inhabitants to 570.4 cases.
