Pharmacists who will take their time off, weekends and holidays, to vaccinate against Covid-19 will be better paid.

A decree published on Tuesday in the Official Journal sets the financial rules for this participation, reports

.

The text indicates that liberal pharmacists will be able to apply an increase "of 5 euros when the injection is carried out on a Sunday or a holiday".

The decree also takes into account an increase "of 30 centimes for the regions and departments mentioned in table 2 (Guadeloupe, Saint-Barthélémy, Saint-Martin, Martinique, Guyana, Réunion, Mayotte)".

These two increases are obviously cumulative.

Variable rates depending on the services

The fee-for-service pricing remains the same. A pharmacist invoices the Social Security 7.90 euros for an injection of vaccine in his dispensary and 6.30 euros "for a service carried out in a collective framework and outside the usual conditions of exercise, or respectively 10.40 euros and 8 , 80 euros if a screening by rapid test for serological diagnostic orientation is carried out during the administration of the first dose of vaccine ”.

Prices are also changing for liberal nurses who charge 7.80 euros for the injection.

Such an act performed at home will be invoiced 14.15 euros instead of 9.15 euros previously, if the professional makes the trip for this single injection.

It will be invoiced 16.65 euros against 11.65 euros "if a screening by rapid test of serological diagnostic orientation is carried out during the administration of the first dose of vaccine".
