The story repeats itself.
Faced with a significant increase in Covid-19 contaminations and wishing to "protect the patients and professionals of the establishment", the Nantes University Hospital announced on Tuesday that it had taken the decision to suspend visits to hospitalized people "until further notice ".
Accompanying persons for independent people are also prohibited.
We regret having to suspend visits to all of our sites.
This decision was taken in view of the recovery of epidemiological indicators and with a concern to protect our patients and our professionals.

All of the CHU sites are affected by the decision: Hôtel-Dieu, Saint-Jacques, Nord-Laënnec hospital, Bellier hospital, Beauséjour, Tourville, Seilleraye.
However, certain services make exceptions: pediatrics (parents of the child), maternity (spouse during the stay), psychiatry (one visitor per day and per patient), physical and rehabilitation medicine (one visitor per day and per patient).
It should also be noted that in the nursing homes of the CHU, family visits are still possible.
The incidence rate in Loire-Atlantique amounted, at the end of last week, to 366 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, slightly above the national average (343).
