On December 4th, the China-Laos Railway (Chengdu-Chongqing-Yanxiang) international train ushered in its first launch.

Carrying Chengdu Sinotruk’s ace light commercial trucks and Chongqing nuts, motorcycle parts, chemicals and other cargoes, they will depart from Chengdu International Railway Port and Chongqing International Logistics Hub Park respectively, and will pass through Yunnan and arrive in Vientiane, Laos, in 3 to 4 days.

  This is the first international freight train from the Chengdu-Chongqing region after the completion of the China-Laos railway. It is also the high-level joint construction of a new land-sea channel between Chengdu and Chongqing to jointly build a strategic highland for inland opening and a new base for participating in international competition. The concrete manifestation of the new pattern of opening to the outside world featuring linkages at home and abroad and mutual assistance between the east and the west.

  It is reported that there are 58 TEUs of goods exported from Chongqing this time, with a value of more than 4 million yuan.
