A mysterious crime in Germany .. Five dead, including children, in a house
In a mysterious incident that sparked a wave of anger and fear, German police found five dead - a man, a woman and three children - with traces of gunshots and stab wounds inside an apartment building in a neighborhood south of Berlin.
A police spokesman said the authorities received a call in which the caller stated that he was not used to not seeing the residents of the apartment house near his home.
"We believe it was a murder," the spokesman added.
Forensic officials were at the site this afternoon.
The spokesman said that the street in the apartment building was closed.
The police have not released more information about the incident yet.
The Public Prosecution and the police stated that the five dead were two adults in their forties and three children aged 4, 8 and 10 years.
The bodies were found with bullet wounds and stab wounds.
The authorities began to initiate criminal investigations, which are still ongoing, and forensic technicians, in addition to an expert from the Brandenburg Institute of Forensic Medicine, directed.
A press release stated that eyewitnesses found immobile people inside the apartment building, and that the police arrived after that and found out that these people had died.
