(Fighting New Coronary Pneumonia) Hong Kong's New Coronary Vaccine Mobile Vaccination Station opened to facilitate vaccinations for the elderly

China News Service, Hong Kong, December 3 (Reporter Zhang Xiaoxi) The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government has launched a new crown vaccination station on December 3, allowing citizens, especially the elderly, to be vaccinated quickly and conveniently near the community where they live.

The first stop of the mobile vaccination station serves residents near Xin Chui Village, Sha Tin, Hong Kong.

In the morning of the same day, the launching ceremony of the New Crown Vaccine Mobile Vaccination Station was held in Xincui Village, Sha Tin. The Secretary for Civil Service of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government Nie Dequan presided over the launching ceremony.

Nie Dequan said that the first mobile vaccination station will serve for two days in Xincui Village. Nearby residents, especially the elderly, can receive the Fubitai vaccine. The first, second or third dose can be vaccinated.

Next, the mobile vaccination station will go to Lok Wah (South) Village in Kwun Tong to continue to provide services to other citizens.

Nie Dequan said that among the current population eligible for the new crown vaccine in Hong Kong, 4.76 million people have received at least one dose of the vaccine, more than 70%, and the number of people who have received the third dose is about 180,000, but they still need to continue to increase their vaccination. Rate, on the one hand, is to protect the elderly, on the other hand, it helps to gradually and orderly "clearance" with the mainland of China and even the world.

He emphasized that Hong Kong will do a good job in "foreign importation" and continue to work hard to maintain local "clearing", and will not bring additional public health risks to the Mainland due to "customs clearance".

Human Health Medical Group of Hong Kong provides services for mobile vaccination stations.

Pan Zhenbang, Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of Human Health Medical, introduced in an interview with a reporter from China News Agency that the mobile vaccination station has three injection stations and one lounge, and there are rest areas and waiting areas around the vaccination stations. Daily operation will be held. Doctors, pharmacists and nurses are in charge, and about 300 doses of vaccine can be injected daily.

He believes that the opening of mobile vaccination stations will help increase Hong Kong's new crown vaccination rate.

The reporter saw at the mobile vaccination station that many nearby residents took the initiative to vaccinate, and even formed a long line at one time, of which the elderly accounted for the majority.

The staff at the scene also specially prepared lucky bags for the elderly who have reached the age of 60 and received the new crown vaccine for the first time, which contain masks, handrubs and food.

Mr. Liang, a 69-year-old citizen this year, said that the arrangement of mobile vaccination stations is very convenient, so that the elderly can be vaccinated without having to "walk around" or take a car and go downstairs to the mobile vaccination station in the community.

Many citizens also expressed satisfaction with the arrangement of mobile vaccination stations and believed that active vaccination can protect themselves and others.
