The Gambia is preparing for its presidential election.
The vote takes place on Saturday (December 4, 2021).
The electoral campaign ends tonight.
Six candidates are in the running, including the outgoing head of state Adama Barrow.
He had created a surprise, 5 years ago, by taking over from Yaya Jammeh who held the country with an iron fist for 22 years.

But the latter has obviously not said his last word and intends to influence this election, while the many victims of his regime are still waiting for justice to do its job.
