Wu Jinglei, director of the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission, introduced that as of 17:00 on December 2nd, two new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia in Shanghai had been added.
The emergency response mechanism for epidemic prevention and control in Shanghai and districts was launched immediately, with comprehensive epidemiological investigations, investigations of relevant personnel, sampling and testing, and isolation control, and implementation of epidemic prevention measures such as terminal disinfection of relevant places and environments.
At present, the two cases have been transferred to the Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center for isolation and treatment, and their condition is stable.
At the same time, the area of Lane 186, Mudan Road, Huamu Street, Pudong New District was upgraded to a medium-risk area.
Up to now, there are 4 medium-risk regions in Shanghai.
