The Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Office has dismissed a man arrested for submitting false documents to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department in connection with the resale of IP phone numbers over the Internet.
In June, a 31-year-old self-employed man living in Mitaka City, Tokyo, was asked by the Metropolitan Police Department to provide information on the resale destination of IP phone numbers. Was arrested on suspicion of exercising a forged privately signed document.
As a result of the investigation, the Tokyo District Prosecutor's Office dismissed the man on the 2nd.
The prosecution has not disclosed the reason for the disposition.
