On December 1, according to the State Grid Gansu Liujiaxia Hydropower Plant, the transformation project of Unit 2 of the plant has entered the mechanical and electrical installation stage.
The water turbine generator set was put into operation in 1970 and has been in safe operation for 51 years.
The renovation work mainly involves the decomposition and dismantling of the old hydro-generator sets, the installation and commissioning of the new hydro-generator sets, the generator's high-current bus, the neutral point of the unit, and the transformation of CT.
