"Pilot"

The dramatic film "Pilot" is the third project of director Renat Davletyarov with Pyotr Fedorov in the title role.

Previously, the actor starred in a detective thriller directed by the director "Pure Art" and a film adaptation of Boris Vasiliev's story "The Dawns Here Are Quiet ...", released in the format of a series and a full-length film.

This time Fedorov played the role of military pilot Nikolai Komlev.

In the story, at the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, the hero lands a wrecked plane in the forest.

After being rescued in aerial combat, the pilot will face many trials on the ground: he will have to hide from the Nazis, escape from wolves, cope with the disease and put up with amputation of his legs in order to survive, return to his beloved woman (Anna Peskova) and, in spite of everything, again start fulfilling your duty.

This story may remind viewers of Boris Polevoy's work "The Story of a Real Man", however, as Renat Davletyarov emphasizes, "Pilot" is not about Alexei Maresyev, whose story formed the basis of the story.

The hero of Pyotr Fedorov has absorbed the features of many military pilots.

On set, filmmakers strived for maximum believability.

For example, real wolves were involved in the picture, although they are practically impossible to train.

And the performers of the main roles had to make some sacrifices: Pyotr Fedorov lost 17 kilograms, Anna Peskova bleached her hair six times and gained weight.

House of Gucci

The new crime drama by Ridley Scott tells the story of the murder of Maurizio Gucci (grandson of the founder of the fashion house of the same name), ordered by his ex-wife Patricia Reggiani.

The heir to the Gucci empire was played by Adam Driver, and the ex-spouse was played by Lady Gaga.

Director candidates and lead roles have changed several times.

For the first time it became known about the work on the film in 2006.

Then Ridley Scott was appointed the director and, according to unofficial sources, Maurizio and Patricia could play Leonardo DiCaprio and Angelina Jolie.

When Scott's daughter Jordan took on the film in 2012, they thought of approving Penelope Cruz for the role of Reggiani.

In 2016, the project was handed over to Wong Kar-Wai, with his arrival Margot Robbie could play Patricia.

It was only after Ridley Scott was directed again in 2019 that the filmmakers approved Driver and Gaga.

But the star cast of the film is not limited to this: the roles of representatives of the Gucci family went to Jared Leto, Al Pacino and Jeremy Irons.

The script for the film by Ridley Scott is based on the book by Sarah Gay Forden "House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamor and Greed."

Members of the famous Italian family and Patricia Reggiani, who served time for organizing the murder of her ex-husband, did not highly appreciate Scott's new job.

The fashion house founder's great-granddaughter, Patricia Gucci, said their family was "genuinely disappointed" with the film.

She also commented on Leto and Pacino's unfortunate choices as her father and grandfather.

The ex-wife of Maurizio, in turn, was unhappy with Lady Gaga.

In addition, according to Reggiani, the actress "did not have enough sensitivity and delicacy" to meet with a socialite.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife

This film became the heir to the paintings of the 1980s at once in several senses.

Firstly, the director of the new tape was Jason Reitman, the son of the director of the first two parts.

Secondly, the plot of the picture was a direct continuation of the original films of 1984 and 1989.

In addition, Reitman worked with Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, who worked on the earlier parts of the franchise, on the script for the new film about the ghostbusters.

The script was also in charge of Monster House director Gil Keenan, who made his debut as a feature-length screenwriter in 2021.

The main roles in the film went to McKenna Grace ("Tonya Against All"), Finn Wolfhard ("Stranger Things"), Carrie Kuhn ("Gone Girl") and Paul Rudd ("Ant-Man").

In the film, you can see the actors who played the roles in the original story - Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Sigourney Weaver.

The filmmakers used archival footage and CGI to replace Harold Ramis, who played one of the hunters who died in 2014.

"The appeal of this film is not primarily due to the things it borrows from other members of the Ghostbusters series, but to the fact that it is a nostalgic nod to Spielberg's family-friendly adventure films from the same period," the film critic notes. Wendy Ide.

The events of the "Heirs" unfold decades after the action of the second part of "Ghostbusters".

The plot centers on the daughter and grandchildren of Egon Spengler, one of the hunters.

Kelly Spengler (Carrie Coon) with her children Phoebe and Trevor (McKenna Grace and Finn Wolfhard) arrives at the house of their late father.

Phoebe tries to find out more about her grandfather while her brother finds the legendary Ghostbusters' car, Ecto-1.

"Only me is normal"

The directorial debut of Anton Bogdanov, an actor known for his role in Real Boys, was filmed in the Moscow region.

According to the director, children with disabilities and children with special needs from the Perm camp "Druzhny" are involved in the film.

Bogdanov also acted as a screenwriter, producer and performer of one of the central roles in his film.

“The uniqueness of the film is that all the children who play in it are not professional actors.

Nobody plays on purpose.

And if in the film we see a child with disabilities, then it is so, ”said the director of the film Anton Bogdanov to the Perm portal 59.ru.

The cast of the film was joined by Konstantin Khabensky and Maxim Vitorgan.

Anton Bogdanov notes that the film's budget was several times less than the average, but some actors agreed to take part in the project when they got acquainted with the script.

According to the plot, children with special needs are mistakenly sent to a summer camp, which local officials plan to demolish in order to build a cottage village.

They are trying to evict the guys in different ways, but they are ready to defend a well-deserved rest.

"BOOMERang"

The unsuccessful drinking artist Petrovich (Timofey Tribuntsev) falls from the roof of a high-rise building and remains alive.

But, unfortunately, Edik (Dmitry Nagiyev), the owner of a pharmacy chain with a criminal past, lands on a new BMW.

As a result, the unfortunate artist is forced to give the former bandit the cost of the spoiled "boomer", namely - 10 million rubles.

The roles in the film were also played by Vladimir Sychev (Fizruk), Roman Madyanov (Leviathan), Maxim Vitorgan (Election Day), Anton Lapenko (Chiki) and TV presenter Elena Sever.

The film was directed by Pyotr Buslov, known for the cult movie "Boomer" (and again a BMW car appears in the tape).

The director said that the drama of some of the scenes in his new work can be compared to Martin McDonagh's paintings "Lying Down in Bruges" and "Seven Psychopaths", but in terms of ease of presentation, "BUMERang" is not inferior to Buslov's own series "House Arrest" ...

Nagiyev and Sychev are not the first to try on the roles of criminals who have left crime in the past.

At a minimum, the actors met on the set of the Fizruk TV series, where they played typical gangsters from the 1990s and also best friends.

Well, Vladimir Sychev played the role of a criminal named Yeralash in Boomer.

"At close range"

For the first time, the film "At Close Distance" was shown by actor and director Grigory Dobrygin in September 2021 at the 32nd Kinotavr Open Festival.

Then critics and viewers spoke positively about the artist's second directorial work.

The events in the film unfold in the midst of a pandemic, which, of course, gives the film a special relevance.

The plot is based on the intersection of two completely different destinies.

The popular actress Inna (Ksenia Rappoport) finds a courier, a migrant from Central Asia (Nurbol Uulu Kairatbek), fainting at her apartment.

During the period of illness, Inna leaves the migrant at home.

Nurbol Uulu Kairatbek is a real delivery man, Dobrygin found him in one of the courier services.

And, according to the director, the non-professional artist coped with the task with a bang.

“This is a movie about a painful but carefully guarded loneliness.

About insurmountable social and interpersonal barriers that interfere with life and endlessly disturb, but which, contrary to desire, are difficult to get rid of, ”explains the director.

Film critics and the director himself have compared At Close Distance with the Oscar-winning drama Parasites.

The South Korean film tells the story of poor people who live in the home of wealthy members of society.

Dobrygin believes that his work “was created and exists in dialogue with the“ Parasites ”.

Anton Yarush ("Closeness", "Unclenching his fists") worked on the script together with Grigory, and the operator was Ksenia Sereda ("Acid", "Dylda", "Chernobyl", "Happy End").

Adventures of a Mathematician

The world premiere of the film about the Polish mathematician Stanislav Ulam took place in January 2020 at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.

The project was directed and written by Thorsten Klein (Damned Place).

Stanislav Ulam is a scientist who emigrated to the United States in 1936.

The mathematician took part in the famous Manhattan Project, in which the United States developed nuclear weapons.

Mathematician John von Neumann invited Stanislav to the program.

The tape, in particular, tells about the period of Ulam's life, when he was engaged in the creation of the most dangerous weapon - the hydrogen bomb.
