On February 5, 2022, the next edition of the Melodifestivalen kicks off.

When the remaining 14 artists are now released, the musician and songwriter Lisa Miskovsky, who is competing for the second time with a break of ten years since her debut in 2012, and Shirley Clamp, who has participated as an artist five times in the competition, most recently in 2011 can be seen.

Among the slightly fresher artists is Lancelot Hedman Graaf (son of former football goalscorer Magnus Hedman and artist Magdalena Graaf) who is making his debut at the Melodifestivalen.

In October, he released his first single Destroyed, on addiction issues.

The youtuber Tone Sekelius, who previously wrote this year's Pride Song 2017, also makes a middle debut.

K-pop and Idol Jury

Last week, the first 14 participants were released and among them are the former Idol jury member Anders Bagge, FO&O member Omar Rudberg and K-pop songwriter Cazzi Opeia.

The first competition is held in Malmö and the final takes place in Stockholm on March 12.

Oscar Zia is the host of the year.
