The issue of unequal access to vaccines between rich and poor countries, regularly raised by the WHO, is becoming increasingly glaring.

Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday, November 29, promised a billion doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines to Africa, in the form of donations or support for local production.
