In Montauban, in Tarn-et-Garonne, a center which had just closed its doors was reopened Monday morning.

Europe 1 went there.

Continuous patient flow

In the vaccination boxes, the flow of patients is continuous.

It had been weeks since the caregivers had seen this.

Due to a lack of patients, the center had to close its doors last Wednesday.

But for the director of the ARS d'Occitanie, Pierre Ricordeau, with the opening of the recall campaign to all adults, these large centers are again necessary.

"I believe that the message has passed that we have to protect ourselves completely. The mass of people who have to make their recall is very important. We therefore need to strengthen the vaccination centers and therefore some must reopen," he explains. he at the microphone of Europe 1.

Uncertainty about the multiplication of booster doses

Dominique works in a bar.

He is happy to have been able to find an appointment quickly to extend his health pass beyond January 15.

But he fears having to multiply his booster doses.

"We are told 'the second is going to be over, you are good'. And finally, we need a third. When we see today that there is another virus in South Africa that has just developed , we may say to ourselves that this third dose will be useless, "he wonders.

This Montauban center can vaccinate up to 500 people per day.

But it also plans to reactivate, as last spring, mobile units to go to the most remote villages of the department.
