The Ibaraki Prefectural Police arrested a 40-year-old door-to-door dealer for urging customers who offered to buy "Sao 1 bottle 298" to buy a clothesline for 29,800 yen.

It means that he has partially denied the charges against the investigation.

The person arrested was Go Notoya (40), a door-to-door sales business in Midori-ku, Chiba.

According to the police, when mobile sales were carried out in Hitachi City, etc., 29,800 were offered to the three customers who offered to purchase by saying "Sao 1 bottle 198, thicker one 298" without intentionally telling the price. There is a suspicion of violating the Japan Act of Specified Commercial Transactions, such as urging people to buy in yen.

When he tried to decline, he shouted, "I can't cancel anymore because I cut the clothesline," and in some cases I was forced to sit at home and buy it, and some people paid 400,000 yen including the clothesline.

It means that he has partially denied the charges, saying "I don't remember threatening" to the investigation.

Police are cautioning that elderly people who are not accustomed to online shopping tend to be targeted because they cannot easily buy clotheslines.
