The results were confirmed as a delta mutant by the China Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The virus sequence is highly homologous to the Shanghai case, and it is the same transmission chain. The source of infection is the environment contaminated by foreign imported viruses in other provinces and cities.

Judging from the investigations of the Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces (cities) involved in the current epidemic, the epidemic has not caused further spread.

  In addition, the Zijingang campus of Zhejiang University has completed three rounds of nucleic acid testing. The school has focused on investigating 1864 people at risk, and all control measures have been taken. At present, the nucleic acid test results of the above personnel are all negative.
