Putin expressed condolences over the death of Vladimir Naumov

The text of the telegram addressed to Naumov's wife, actress Natalia Belokhvostikova, has been published on the Kremlin's website.

"Dear Natalia Nikolaevna, please accept my sincere condolences, words of support and participation in connection with the grief that befell you and your family - the death of Vladimir Naumovich Naumov," the message says.

Putin noted that "Naumov was an outstanding director, a true master of Russian cinema."

“His talented films, created over the years of tireless creative work, raise important, exciting topics for people and therefore resonate with viewers of different generations.

The bright memory of Vladimir Naumovich Naumov will forever remain in the hearts of relatives and friends, friends and colleagues, all admirers of his generous talent, ”the president said.
