On the morning of November 29, in the Sichuan-Tibet section of the upper reaches of the Jinsha River at the junction of Sichuan and Tibet, with the last load of rocks falling into Longkou, another world-class project under construction-the Jinsha River Rawa Hydropower Station was successfully closed.
The Rawa Hydropower Station, developed by Huadian Jinsha River Upstream Hydropower Development Co., Ltd., has an installed capacity of 2 million kilowatts and a total investment of 30.9 billion yuan. It is the 8th level of the 13-level hydropower development plan for the upper reaches of the Jinsha River.
